Job Description: Sr. Advance Certification Engineer
Experience: 9-15 years
Responsibilities
- Industrial & Radio Products for Hazards location and ordinary location Certifications like IECEx, ATEx, UKCA, NEPSI, PESO for CL1 Div1,Div2 and Zone 0,1,2 Environments.
- Marine certification across the globe like DNV, BV, ABS, USCG, RMRS, CCS, KR, NKK, RINA, MED
- Experience on working with agencies like CSA, FM, UL, TUV
- Understand the product design and its end application.
- Understand the HW/ SW/ FW implementation and define the test scenarios.
- Interact with engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret test for products, systems, components, or modifications
Essential Skills:
- Experience on certifying Marine & Hazloc certifications and Standards requirements
- Experience in writing test strategy, Test plan and Test cases for pre-compliance and compliance for Global hazards location certification, ordinary location Certification and marine certifications (IECEx, ATEx, UKCA, NEPSI, PESO for CL1 Div1,Div2, IS Zone 0,1,2, SIL MID, Cyber security, MID, OIML and Marine like EU RO MR, DNV, LR, BV,BV, ABS, USCG, RMRS, CCS, KR, NKK, RINA, MED)
- Experience in writing test strategy, Test plan and Test cases for pre-compliance and compliance for Electrical, Functional, EMI EMC, Environmental requirements as per standards,
- Experience on using IS, Marine, EMI/EMC standards and test setup for Industrial products
- Able to write test specs for production test.
- Experience on Electronics and Electrical circuit designs with u controller/Processor and I/O.
- Experience on Analog and Digital Electronics/Sensors working principle
Experience on product development process.
Preferred Skills:
- Wireless product certification like PTCRB, Verizon, BELL AT &T, FCC, IC
- Strong Analytical and reasoning skills
- Demonstration of usage of six sigma tools in projects (Six sigma with Green belt certification)
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently owning the project tasks
- Able to work with global partners and cross functional stake holders.

Skills Required
- 9-15 years of relevant engineering or product certification experience
- Experience certifying marine and hazardous-location products to applicable global standards
- Experience with IECEx, ATEX, UKCA, NEPSI, PESO, Class I Division 1 and 2, and Zone 0, 1, and 2 certifications
- Experience with global marine certifications and agencies, including DNV, BV, ABS, USCG, RMRS, CCS, KR, NKK, RINA, and MED
- Experience working with CSA, FM, UL, and TÜV certification agencies
- Ability to write test strategies, test plans, and test cases for pre-compliance and compliance testing
- Experience developing tests for electrical, functional, EMI/EMC, and environmental standards
- Experience using intrinsic safety, marine, and EMI/EMC standards and test setups for industrial products
- Ability to write production test specifications
- Experience with electronic and electrical circuit design involving microcontrollers, processors, and I/O
- Knowledge of analog and digital electronics and sensor operating principles
- Experience with product development processes
- Ability to understand hardware, software, and firmware implementation and define test scenarios
- Wireless product certification experience, including PTCRB, Verizon, Bell, AT&T, FCC, or IC
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification or demonstrated use of Six Sigma tools
- Strong analytical, reasoning, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with global partners and cross-functional stakeholders
