The Sr. Advanced Electrical Engineer is responsible for plant instrumentation, power distribution, and control system design, testing, and implementation. This role requires advanced technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead engineering efforts on cross-functional projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support controls hardware, software, and networking onsite
- Lead and support electrical and instrumentation project implementation
- Perform detailed engineering analysis, troubleshooting, and validation testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in existing and new designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (maintenance, operations, process engineering, HSE, and quality) to ensure seamless integration
- Develop and review technical documentation, including schematics, specifications, and test reports
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and innovation efforts
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
- 5–10+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation, power distribution, and control system hardware (DCS and PLC)
- Experience with manufacturing plant maintenance practices
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
WE VALUE
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering or multidisciplinary engineering degrees (IE chemical, mechanical, or industrial)
- Experience as a process control or instrumentation engineer
- Experience with packaging lines and robots
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (UL, IEC, IEEE, PSM, etc.)
- Project leadership or team lead experience
- Experience with hardware validation and testing methodologies
COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position is $132,866K - $165,788K. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
