The Role

Job Description:

The Sr. Administrative Associate performs diverse administrative duties in the field office, following established routines under general supervision. This role requires a working knowledge of insurance and securities products, office and company policies and procedures to support Field Leaders and Financial Professionals in their sales and marketing operation.
*Candidate Note: This role requires a minimum of three (3) days per week in the office, located in Leawood, Kansas, with the option to work remotely for the remaining days. The specific in-office schedule will be discussed and agreed upon with qualified candidates, offering flexibility to accommodate.
Responsibilities

  • Performs administrative duties for office location in Leawood, KS including, but not limited to meet/greet clients, mail distribution, maintain office appearance, open/close office.
  • Supports new business processing to include review of applications and forms for accuracy; electronic submission of applications; order requirements, and electronic follow-up on all pending cases until completion.
  • Provides new business updates and reports to Financial Professionals and Field Leader(s) on pre issue and post issue requirements via voicemail, email or fax.
  • Builds strong relationships with employees and other 3rd party administrators in order to handle underwriting and securities issues.
  • Provides excellent and proactive service to Financial Professionals and policyholders; including supporting new Financial Professionals as they join the firm.
  • Participates in special projects and provides support/back-up in all aspects of the office and firm; collaborates with other firm team members in a support function.
  • Supports and coordinates firm events both locally and remotely.

Skills and Abilities

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Zoom
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interact with Field Staff, Financial Professionals and other stakeholders
  • Ability to make a positive contribution as demonstrated by learning new skills and making suggestions for process/procedure improvement
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and work with others in a collaborative team environment

Education

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required

Experience

  • 3-5 Years of life insurance/securities or relevant outside experience required

Licenses

  • Life and Health insurance licenses preferred

Base Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000
