Senior Accounts Payable Specialist Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with proficiency to manage end-to-end accounts payable operations for our APAC region. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely invoice processing, vendor management, compliance with local regulations, and support financial reporting while maintaining strong internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Operations
- Process high-volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper GL coding and compliance with company policies.
- Manage vendor master data and maintain accurate records.
- Handle employee expense reports and reimbursements.
- Execute payment runs (wire transfers, ACH, checks) as per schedule.
Korea Region Support
- Liaise with Korean vendors and internal stakeholders in Korean and English.
- Ensure compliance with Korean tax regulations, including VAT documentation.
- Support statutory requirements and local audits for the Korea entity.
- Review tax invoices and ensure proper documentation as per Korean law.

- Mentor junior AP team members when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
- 5-7 years of accounts payable experience
- Experience handling AP for South Korea, Taiwan, and/or Philippines markets
- Knowledge of regional tax and regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding of foreign currency transactions
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work across time zones
- Good communication skills; multilingual ability (Korean) is a plus
- Working with Finance ERP such as Coupa and NetSuite are preferred
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- 8+ years of accounts payable experience
- Experience handling AP for South Korea, Taiwan, and/or Philippines
- Knowledge of regional tax and regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding of foreign currency transactions
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good communication skills; multilingual ability (Korean/Mandarin/Tagalog) is a plus
- Working with Finance ERP such as Coupa and NetSuite
