Job Summary
In this position you will be responsible of General Accounting tasks for several units and you will provide support to AP/AR function, as back-up and whenever is needed. You will also be requested to assist the senior accountants and Controller for various GL activities and/or analysis.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Expenses report analysis, review and reconciliations for several entities
- Prepare monthly expense accrual and other journal entries for bank, payroll and other
- Month-end close process for the assigned entities
- Perform analysis at month-end for the assigned entities
- Assist senior accountants during various month-end activities including Intercompany bookings
- Bank reconciliations for several entities
- Monthly reconciliation of a set of balance sheet accounts
- Prepare analysis of general ledger accounts for audit, tax and cost analysis purposes
- Support during SOX and Audits review
- Support Senior team members for monthly/quarterly VAT return
- Maintain an efficient filing system
- Back-up for other colleagues in GL and assist AP/AR team
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years minimum experience in GL function is recommended.
- Accounting degree or commercial diploma.
- Experience working in a US company and multinational environment is preferred.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written, fluency with other European languages will be a plus.
- Pro-active, hands on mentality, motivated, team player.
- At ease with the usual software tools (MS Office, accounting packages …)

Compensation: The anticipated range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.

Physical requirements/Work Environment
This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some local travel is necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required.
