Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Lead coordination and execution of external audits, serving as primary point of contact for audit requests
- Plan and perform operational and financial audits, developing recommendations based on findings
- Research and interpret accounting guidance; develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures
- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and monthly close deliverables
- Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations, identifying root causes and trends
