The candidate will be part of the Accounting Operations Division responsible for managing the close process, on Statutory basis, in a high paced and challenging environment. The group works closely with all business areas throughout the company, senior management and technology. The role requires strong accounting & analytical skills, clear and concise communication, staff management, and a willingness to challenge the status quo. The candidate will be a key contributor in process improvement and automation initiatives that are currently underway, as well as identifying future improvement opportunities. The role will provide in depth institutional knowledge, exposure to all aspects of the Company's financials and the opportunity to increase technical skills using new technology.
What You'll Do:
• Talent cultivation• Production of thorough variance analysis and management reports, coordinating with business areas to understand activity and explanations• Partner with business areas to understand and advise on accounting transactions• Review and approval of journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by junior level staff and co-sourced resources.• Perform divisional SOX controls• Managing intercompany transactions and addressing process discrepancies efficiently.• Identify and drive process improvements• Utilize RPA (Robotic Process Automation) technology• Assist in achievement of departmental and internal division goals• Support rotational associate and internship programs
What You'll Bring
• B.S. in Accounting preferred • 6+ years relevant experience• Deep knowledge Statutory Accounting Principles• Proficient in SAP General Ledger with hands-on experience• Strong understanding of financial controls• Willingness to seek innovative efficiencies• Strong leadership and collaboration skills
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $95,000-$162,500
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
