JOB MISSION: 

 

The Sports Marketing Coordinator, Global Football, will play a pivotal role in shaping both the immediate and long-term future of the Global Football category at New Balance. This role will support the wider Sports Marketing team across athlete and club servicing, gifting, product management, internal operations, and athlete-acquisition support. The ambition is to deliver boutique, best-in-class servicing for all Global Football partners. 

 

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

  • End-to-end management of the servicing process for New Balance’s Global Football athlete portfolio (personal, family & friends, charitable). 

  • Work closely with Athlete Services and SPOMA to manage the football boot-ordering process. Assist with club-servicing requests (personal, family, friends, charitable) using NB’s ordering and in-office logistics systems. 

  • Manage Sports Marketing stock to ensure full access to relevant products, maintain accurate stock counts and track against allocated budget. 

  • Build and manage the full seeding plan for athletes and club contacts. 

  • Oversee bespoke athlete packaging for seeding and key athlete moments. 

  • Support the Sports Marketing team in preparation and delivery of photoshoots. 

  • Respond to urgent athlete and club needs as required. 

  • Support athlete charitable activations and product donations. 

  • Create and own the key energy-moments calendar (on-pitch and off-pitch) in collaboration with the Sports Marketing team. 

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS: 

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or a sport-related field. 

  • Eligibility to work in the EU. 

  • Strong passion for football and the wider football industry, with proven interest in sport. 

  • Excellent organisational skills. 

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and a proactive approach to challenges. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, while also completing tasks independently when needed. 

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. 

  • Strong initiative and willingness to take on new projects. 

  • Interest in trends across football, sport, and lifestyle marketing. 

  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the EU and to the UK.
