As a Splunk Solutions Engineer in Poland, you will work at the intersection of Cisco and Splunk's global security portfolios, designing the security architectures of Poland's largest organizations across the public sector, financial services, telecommunications, and energy industries.
Success in this role means empowering customers to strengthen their security posture while collaborating closely with our regional Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) team to deliver outstanding value.
- Analyze customer security requirements to design robust Splunk Enterprise Security and SIEM architectures.
- Map detection use cases and engineer threat detection solutions to secure enterprise IT environments.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations and lead Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and Proofs of Value (POVs) to drive deal conversion.
- Build and maintain technical relationships with CISOs, SOC Managers, and security architects to ensure long-term partnership.
- Support regional sales teams, partners, and Cisco Security Sales Specialists throughout the full pre-sales cycle to achieve revenue goals.
- Share market insights and customer feedback with Product Management to influence future product development.
- Present technical information and interactive workshops to educate diverse audiences on security best practices.
- Achieve Splunk Architect Certification and continuously develop technical skills against an agreed development plan to stay ahead of industry trends.
- 3+ years of professional experience in technical pre-sales or a customer-facing cybersecurity engineering role.
- Experience working with enterprise IT environments, including security, infrastructure, and data analytics.
- Hands-on experience configuring, deploying, or managing SIEM and threat detection technologies.
- Experience working with Cloud security platforms, specifically AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Professional fluency in Polish and English.
- Active Splunk certifications (e.g., Splunk Architect).
- Additional industry security certifications (e.g., GIAC, OSCP, or Azure/AWS Security).
- Advanced domain expertise in Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows and processes.
- Strong understanding of SaaS or subscription-based sales models.
