SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Jotun Powder Coatings Saudi Arabia is seeking a Specification Executive to support the department by securing the approval of Jotun products in project specifications. The role focuses on building strong relationships with architects and consultants to ensure Jotun specifications are approved and implemented across all project stages, driving sustainable and profitable sales growth.
This position will be based in Riyadh and will report to the Specification Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in obtaining approvals for Jotun premium products across major projects in Saudi Arabia by providing comprehensive technical and commercial information to maximize the chances of securing specifications.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of key construction projects and architects in Saudi Arabia.
  • Build and strengthen a professional network among consultants, architects, designers, and project specifiers by initiating and nurturing relationships to support Jotun’s specification approvals with project decision-makers.
  • Conduct technical and commercial training sessions and seminars to enhance Jotun’s visibility and drive sales through the architect channel.
  • Identify and map projects in Saudi Arabia, influence decision-makers to ensure Jotun specifications are approved, and secure projects for Jotun’s business growth.
  • Monitor market trends in the construction and paint industry, analyze collected data, and leverage insights to reinforce Jotun’s market position by promoting and implementing Jotun products and concepts as the leading paint supplier.
  • Support the sales team in achieving targets by securing specification approvals and providing timely updates on project activities and status to ensure successful completion of the sales process.
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with specifiers through regular visits, presentations, and participation in seminars.
  • Arrange regular meetings with leading architects, consultants, and project owners to present Jotun’s company profile and product portfolio, including technical documentation on performance and features.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 2-3 year's experience in Sales and Specifications.

  • Fluent to communicate in English and Arabic languages.

  • Skillful at delivering business presentations.

  • Willingness to travel and connect with clients across Saudi Arabia.
