Job Description

    Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Test Evaluation and Certification II Services (TEC II) contract provides technical solutions for the Department of War (DoW) in support of Test and Evaluation (T&E) services and T&E enabling services. JITC’s service requirements are categorized in the following areas: T&E Performance Requirements, T&E Capability Management Requirements, T&E Capability Requirements, and Overarching Contract and Task Order (TO) Requirements. TEC Services are provided to DoW Combatant Commanders / Services / Agencies, federal and state agencies, coalition partners, and commercial entities to aid in the design, development, acquisition, integration, deployment, operational use, and sustainment of new and enhanced Information Technology/National Security System capabilities.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:
    JITC’s Specialized Test Laboratory (STL) Resource Scheduler, formerly Unified Capabilities Laboratory, maintains the lab’s T&E schedule while adhering to a dynamic schedule, schedules all resources and reports on all T&E efforts, activities, and test status. Supports and provides numerous administrative functions including general office management support, scheduling of tests, property accountability, and purchasing.

    Duties include:

  • Provide administrative functions, office management, daily operations, scheduling of tests, property accountability, and purchasing.
  • Schedule meetings. 
  • Create and maintain Test Discrepancy Report (TDR) spreadsheets.
  • Maintain and update the STL T&E Services and Facilities Support Test Schedule.
  • Track the status of ongoing test activities to identify and mitigate the impact schedule delays or other issues may have on other ongoing or planned tests
  • Prepare purchasing documentation, obtain vendor quotes, and create the initial purchase package for all Other Direct Cost purchases.
  • Prepare the material inspection and receiving report in order to receive purchases.

Education and Background

    Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience; or an Associate’s degree at least 4 years of experience. One year of experience can be substituted by 15 semester hours completed towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a directly related curriculum.

    2 years with Bachelor's degree or 4 years with Associate's degree.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communications skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to write complex issues in a clear, concise, and easily understood manner.
  • Familiar with and actively using Microsoft Office suite.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiar with and actively using Jira Project Management.
  • Familiar with Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS). 
  • Familiar with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) electronic records management guidelines.
  • Attention to detail creating, reviewing and editing requirements, specifications, and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior management, cross-functional teams, internal/external customers, and end-users.

  • Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may involve standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
  • Strength Demands

  • Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles.  The role may involve occasional walking or standing.

Skills Required

  • Active Secret security clearance (must have clearance to start)
