So, what’s the role all about?
We are seeking a visionary Software Architect to serve as a technical leader for our engineering teams. In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and hands-on execution, managing architectural subdomains within a large-scale platform. You will be responsible for guiding engineers toward correct technical paths, making high-stakes decisions, and relentlessly driving innovation and AI-first transformation across the organization.
How will you make an impact?
- Technical Leadership: Lead and influence multiple engineering teams, ensuring architectural alignment and high-quality technical decisions across subdomains.
- System Design: Architect resilient, multi-tenant cloud solutions and distributed event-driven systems that scale.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with product leaders, directors, and cross-functional teams to navigate complex requirements in a multi-domain environment.
- API & Integration Strategy: Define robust API management strategies and ensure system resiliency through modern integration patterns.
- AI Integration: Evangelize and implement AI productivity tools (GitHub Copilot, Agents) and oversee the lifecycle of AI-driven applications utilizing LLMs.
Have you got what it takes?
- Total 10+ years and relevant 8+ years’ experience as Software Architect .
- Cloud Expertise: Proven track record of designing and deploying production-grade systems on AWS using a broad range of AWS native services.
- Architectural Depth: Deep experience in Multi-tenant Cloud Architecture, Event-Driven Systems, and Resiliency Patterns
- Polyglot Mindset: A "right tool for the job" approach, with a willingness to work across various languages and frameworks in an AI-first environment.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- AI/LLM Proficiency: It will be good to have a person with practical understanding of AI project lifecycle specifically using LLMs and the use of AI agents to accelerate development
- Backend: Advanced proficiency in Java and Springboot Framework. Exposure to Node.js will be a significant plus.
- Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation (YAML) and Infrastructure as Code.
- Data: Strong mastery of SQL required
- Big Data exposure to Apache Spark or Big Data processing will be a bonus.
- Frontend: Solid understanding of modern UI frameworks and frontend development principles.
- Tooling: Expert-level use of Jira, GitHub, GitHub Copilot, and Claude Code/other AI agents for productivity
- Testing : good exposure to automation testing and frameworks for unit testing , integration testing , e2e testing, performance testing.
