Role Overview: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Revenue Recognition Analyst to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and support financial reporting in our growing SaaS fintech company. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams (legal, sales, PMO) to interpret contracts, assist in audits, and apply U.S. GAAP standards for accurate revenue recognition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Revenue Recognition: Apply ASC 606 standards to ensure accurate revenue recognition for SaaS and on-premise contracts.
• Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Contract Review: Collaborate with legal and sales teams to interpret contracts and ensure proper revenue recognition.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the PMO and Project Managers to gain a deep understanding of project progress and status.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Process Improvement: Help optimize internal controls and revenue recognition procedures.
• Netsuite Support (Preferred): Leverage Netsuite or similar systems for financial reporting and revenue processes.
  

Required Experience:

• 5-8 years of experience in revenue recognition, financial reporting, or similar roles within SaaS or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP.
• Ability to interpret contracts and collaborate across teams.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP systems.
  
• SaaS or fintech industry experience is a plus.
• NetSuite ARM experience is a plus but not required
