Overview:
The Specialist, Network Products role focuses on shaping and evolving Mastercard's global network access services, especially Edge Connectivity (Cloud, Co-Lo, On-Prem) and Transaction APIs (ISO 20022). The position blends product strategy, market analysis, partner management, and execution, while working closely with Technology, Finance, and external partners to scale adoption and innovation-especially through AI-enabled solutions.
Major Accountabilities:
• Contribute to product strategy and roadmap development for Network Access Products, with a focus on Edge Connectivity and Transaction APIs• Support AI-driven initiatives to improve decision-making, efficiency, and product innovation across network services• Manage defined project components across the product lifecycle, from ideation through execution• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, gaps, and differentiation• Collaborate with Finance to develop business cases, ROI analysis, and investment justification• Perform opportunity assessments for new product concepts and enhancements• Partner with Product Development and Global Technology teams to define business and technical requirements• Support partner identification and evaluation, including vendors and ecosystem participants• Maintain and improve existing product lines, ensuring ongoing competitiveness and market penetration
Education: • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience
Knowledge / Experience: • 3-5 years related work experience, preferably in Payments/Financial Services • Experience in product management, product development, and product operations desirable
Skills/ Abilities: • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational, planning and follow-up skills • Strong analytical skills desirable • Business Acumen with the ability to provide solutions that drive positive results to the customer and MasterCard • Self motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team
