Specialist is responsible for follow up for missing remittances, prepare refund package with accuracy and supply to clients, record all collections activities in a consistent manner as per process, delivery of process requirements to achieve key performance targets. Reporting and compliance expertise for all reporting and compliance requirements for O2C. Timely and accurate month-end reporting, compliance testing, credit and collections are key elements to the role as well as supporting internal and external audits.
Job Description
Service Delivery:- Calculates, analyzes, tracks, and reports operational KPIs and metrics to drive efficiency and quality of O2C processes.
- Ensures KPIs are properly reported and displayed via dashboards.
- Provides services at expected levels with a strong focus on customer service customer service and resolving / escalating issues timely.
- Interacts proactively with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate services levels. Increases process efficiency and quality by continuous improvement and challenging the status quo.
- Trains O2C team in compliance and KPI understanding. Credit risk assessment. Collections strategies. Works with process owners to ensure compliance issues are closed timely.
- Supports that all processes, policies, and procedures are clearly defined, fully documented, in line with Sandoz standards and adhered to. Ensures the completion and high quality of SOX related controls with adequate proof of evidence.
- Ensures compliance with Novartis Accounting Manual (NAM), Novartis Financial Controls Manual (NFCM) and regulatory requirements. Accompanies and supports internal audits and reviews.
- Ensures application of agreed Novartis control procedures and actively supports to deliver SOX certification.
- Reporting completed accurately and timely that meets closing and compliance requirements.
- No unsatisfactory audit rating and timely execution of action plans
- Deliver business benefits and productivity improvements as per target.
- Customer satisfaction of service delivery and process specific KPIs in accordance with individual performance objectives

- Follow up on customer/internal disputes, customer questions and working between departments to get a resolution.
- Reconcile orders to match customer books, including validating credits or debits and sending them to customer for collection or refund.
- Process cash application functions to invoices at assigned sites ensuring the DRR (Daily Receipt Reconciliation) is completed in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner.
- Identify and rectify unidentified cash and manage end to end process of Cash applications.
- Balance sheet reconciliations related to Accounts Receivables.
- Drive clearance of reconciling Items in AR Balance Sheet Recons
- Moderate: ensured compliance delivery across NGSC.
- Supports process standardization, automation, and innovation.
- Ensures NGSC delivers finance excellence
Responsibilities

- 6+ years of financial experience, with in-depth functional expertise
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization.
- Previous experience in managing Financial Services
- SAP knowledge
- Experience of managing projects driving performance (e.g., ERP implementation)
- Good people skills
- English.
