Specialist - NVH Systems

Job Introduction:

As an experienced NVH/CAE Analyst, you will be involved in performing NVH Simulations for eDrives Transfer cases and DHT products.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Expertise on CAE/FEA model building and debugging of E-drives, Transfer cases, Drive modules and hybrid transmission systems using Tetra, hexahedral and 1D meshing Contacts and rigid connections

  • Profound knowledge in performing core CAE NVH simulations - Eigen mode frequency analysis (Modal)

    • Structure borne noise (FRF)

    • Air borne noise (FRF)

    • Transfer path analysis

    • Pre-tension of gear set and bolt connections

    • Topology optimization and sensitivity study

Knowledge and Education:

  • Bachelor’s/master’s in mechanical/Structural/Automotive engineering or equivalent from reputed university/institution

Work Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in NVH Simulations / Test data Analysis in Automotive Powertrain or relevant job experience.

  • Knowledge of test data analysis.

  • Knowledge in preprocessing and results interpretations.

  • Experience in the eDrives, DCT/DHT and Transfer cases in automotive sector.

  • Excellent English communication (German is added advantage)

Skills & Competencies:

  • Hands-on experience in CAE-Testing correlation

  • Perform parametric study FFT and data processing

  • Understanding the Gear micro geometry

  • Deep knowledge of NVH overall scope in powertrains

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, structural, automotive engineering, or an equivalent field
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in NVH simulations or test data analysis
  • Automotive powertrain experience, including eDrives, DCT/DHT systems, and transfer cases
  • Experience building and debugging CAE/FEA models using tetrahedral, hexahedral, and 1D meshing, contacts, and rigid connections
  • Knowledge of core CAE NVH simulations, including modal, structure-borne noise, airborne noise, and transfer path analysis
  • Knowledge of test data analysis, preprocessing, and results interpretation
