The Multimedia Specialist supports the Communications Departments efforts to shape and project the image of Memphis Shelby County Schools to its internal and external stakeholders. This position plays a critical role in developing modern and compelling design/production/presentation strategies for execution across all marketing and communications materials.
Essential Job FunctionsGraduation from an accredited university or college with an Associate’s degree in Art, Graphic Arts or a related field; Plus, two (2) years of related professional experience, OR an equivalent combination of realated education and experience totaling four (4) years. (PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED).
Degree Equivalency Formula:
Bachelor’s Degree= 4 years plus required years of experience.
Master’s Degree= 2 years plus required years of experience. Where Master’s degrees are required, years for Bachelor’s Degrees must be included.
