The Local Marketing Specialist will drive foot traffic to Build-A-Bear’s corporate locations by developing, implementing, and evaluating local and mall marketing initiatives. Additionally, this role leads marketing efforts for store grand openings, remodels, and closures, playing a critical part in achieving corporate expansion goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless marketing integration for pop-ups, seasonal, and new store openings
- Execute a comprehensive marketing plan to drive brand awareness
- Coordinate with mall marketing contacts
- Coordinate new store opening signage kits
- In partnership with the field, collaborate with high-volume and tourist locations to ensure visibility
- Support the field team with local marketing requests
- Support and coordinate with the Experiential Marketing team to amplify local window displays and signage
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years of Marketing event planning, grand openings, tourism marketing, or advertising
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Project Management experience
- 3+ years of Marketing event planning, grand openings, tourism marketing, or advertising

- Hybrid work schedule

- 15% domestic travel
