Team Overview
This Specialist role provides administrative, operational, and customer service support to ensure the efficient delivery of credit bureau products and services. The role serves as a key link between customers, sales teams, and internal operations, ensuring high service standards, accurate processing of requests, and smooth day-to-day office administration. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
Customer Support B2B
- Respond to customer enquiries relating to credit reports, bureau services, account management, and product information.
- Resolve customer issues and escalate complex queries when required.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through professional and timely communication.
- Provide guidance to customers on products, processes, and service usage.
- Monitor service requests and ensure follow-up until resolution.
Operations Support
- Process customer applications, account updates, and service requests accurately.
- Verify customer documentation and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and databases.
- Generate operational reports and assist with data quality checks.
- Support the implementation of operational procedures and service improvements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
Sales Support
- Assist the sales team with client onboarding and account maintenance..
- Coordinate customer training, follow-up activities.
- Maintain sales records and pipeline information in Salesforce systems.
- Assist with lead management and new client onboarding
- Support customer retention and cross-selling initiatives.
Office Administration
- Manage general office administration and correspondence.
- Manage office supplies, filing systems, and document control.
- Assist with invoice processing, purchase requisitions, and vendor coordination on Coupa
- Support management with administrative tasks and special projects.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer and credit information.
- Ensure compliance with credit bureau regulations, data privacy legislation, and company policies.
- Support internal audits and quality assurance activities.
- Identify operational risks and recommend corrective actions.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
- At least 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Diploma in Office Administration / Business Management or similar
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with strong administrative skills
- Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Salesforce & Coupa is an added advantage
- Knowledge of credit bureau processes and financial services industry practices is advantageous.
