Job Description:
The position will focus on delivering infrastructure automation using AI tools such as AWS Systems Manager, CloudWatch, Lambda, and Python, enabling improved incident response, patch management, and routine task automation. Additionally, this role will support and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, enhance configuration management with Ansible, and assist in managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications, ensuring consistent and reliable deployments.Key responsibilities include:
Monitoring and maintaining operational health of hosted services through proactive alerting and dashboarding using Amazon CloudWatch, AWS Lambda, and other AWS-native tools.
Developing automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell and Python to reduce manual effort and enhance consistency across cloud operations.
Supporting infrastructure automation and configuration management using tools such as AWS Systems Manager, Ansible, and Terraform to enable scalable and secure environments.
Experience and knowledge of database server systems (such as Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or later), database management (such as performance monitoring and improvement), database maintenance (such as disaster recovery), and database-related automated process development (such as Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services packages), as generally acquired by five or more years of experience, preferably within a healthcare-related environment
Knows to detect & resolve issues related to CPU; Memory; I/O disk space etc., which indirectly necessitates strong OS knowledge
Practical experience troubleshooting performance problems, query tuning and optimization
Responsible for managing work requests, incidents or tickets assigned
Flexible to work in shifts (24/7) and provide on-call support during OOF
Total IT experience between 4-6 years with a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
At least 2-3 years of Automation experience - should have automation mindset and reduce toil in everything that we do in any one of the below• Powershell or Python• AWS System Manager/Chef/Puppet/Ansible or any Automation tool etc.,• Terraform/CloudFormation• At least 1 year working knowledge of monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Sumo Logic , Nagios etc.,
Worked for at least 06 months to 1 year in AWS infrastructure support role – Resource provisioning, monitoring, analytics and logging (EC2, Load Balancer, System Manger, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, VPC etc.,)
Install and configure new instances of SQL Server, including provisions for HA like Availability Groups
Remain familiar with the configuration of each server and instance, and databases therein
Monitor and Apply applicable updates, service packs, hot fixes, upgrades, etc.
Work to continually improve and automate all processes, including DB installation, maintenance, backup, restore, and monitoring
Basic knowledge of Networking, Firewall management, SMTP and Latency troubleshooting
Excellent communication and reasoning skills, Team Chemistry and Soft Skills
Logical thinker, Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Active Directory and VMware/virtualization
Working knowledge of ticketing tools like Salesforce, ServiceNow etc.,
