In this role, you ensure that high‑quality master data enables reliable, complaint, and efficient business operations across QIAGEN. Acting as a trusted partner to global stakeholders, you create, maintain, and govern master data across multiple domains and systems. Your work directly supports end‑to‑end processes in procurement, finance, supply chain, customer care, and reporting, contributing to operational stability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Your tasks include
Creating, maintaining, and governing master data in SAP environments (S/4HANA, ECC/R/3, MDG) to support end‑to‑end business processes
Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data across domains such as materials, finance, reporting, and business partners
Applying global data standards, naming conventions, and governance rules to maintain sustainable data quality
Supporting data validation, cleansing, migration, and consolidation activities across systems
Collaborating closely with Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve data issues
Taking ownership of complex master data topics and coordinating resolution across connected systems (e.g. SAP, PIM, APO/MDG)
Supporting audits and compliance requirements, including SOX and GMP where applicable
Your profile
Degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a comparable qualification
Solid experience in master data management, ERP master data maintenance, and data governance
Very good English skills, written and spoken
Hands‑on experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA; exposure to MDG, PIM, or APO is an advantage
Strong analytical skills and a structured, detail‑oriented working approach
Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and translate business needs into data solutions
