Our MMS Elevations Specialists handle all elevated files and inquiries from our lenders/brokers/lawyers or internal stakeholders. Typically, there is a problem with the file, it is in jeopardy of not closing or there is a service issue that is impacting the overall experience. They thrive in a fast-paced environment where time and accuracy are often of the essence.
Elevations Specialists are our processing subject matter experts. They possess deep knowledge of the processing ‘rules’ for all our processing teams across Managed Mortgage Solutions nationally.
They possess in-depth understanding of our MMS guidelines and act quickly to instill a sense of urgency to resolve and remove barriers to closing internally and externally.
They are confident engaging with lenders, brokers, borrowers, and lawyers by phone, consistently striving for first-call resolution. They demonstrate excellent communication skills and maintain professional interactions with lenders, brokers, lawyers and all stakeholders.

HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on all internal processes across multiple Lines of Business
  • Communicate directly with lenders, brokers and lawyers on time-sensitive matters often under strict time constraints
  • Liaise with internal partners/departments (Sales, Processing, Funding) to remove obstacles and progress files forward
  • Resolve deficiencies or customer service issues while adhering to internal policy and risk management policies
  • Communicate file progress with lawyers, lenders, brokers and other stakeholders via multiple mediums with accuracy and professionalism (email/phone/chat/app)
  • Manage end-to-end processing of multiple mortgage files, ensuring timely progression from initial receipt and submission to funding, post-closing completion, and mortgage registration
  • Carry out the fulfillment of department programs and services and respond to lawyer, broker and lender inquiries within established timeframes 
  • Identify and propose alternatives to business and operational opportunities 
  • Participate in the design, implementation and delivery of programs, processes, and training.
  • Passion for customer service and dedication to ensuring files close on time 
  • Provide guidance and support on processes, platforms and the various products FCT offers to internal and external stakeholders
  • Keep current on all Company wide and department policies, procedures and practices.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:  

  • Experience as a Real Estate Law Clerk or mortgage professional is required 
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships 
  • Excellent communication, organization and time management skills
  • Detail oriented and proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment 
  • Team player who can work with minimal supervision
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime during peak periods
  • Ability to exercise sound independent judgment in a wide range of situations and exhibit creative thinking and problem solving


Total Direct Compensation:

57,200 - 70,000

Any pay range is in $CAD. The stated pay range reflects the total expected compensation for this role (e.g., base pay plus any expected incentives or allowances, where applicable)
