Job Summary
To provide specialist advice and support in area of specialisation enabling the effective implementation of risk frameworks.
Job Description
- Risk and Control: Perform quarterly risk and control assessments on Data & records Management.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular deep dives and control testing to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
- Security Controls: Develop, implement, and maintain security controls to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with the bank requirements. Through facilitating the management of the information asset registers, data flow mappings, records destructions, record keeping, assessing projects, and driving the data and records management councils.
- Compliance: Ensure the business adheres to relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies and standards related to information security.
- Incident Response: Assist in the development and execution of incident response plans to address security breaches and other incidents.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on risk assessments, security incidents, and compliance status for management and stakeholders.
- Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions and awareness programs to educate employees about information security best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in information security and continuously improve the business unit's risk management processes
- Management of data leakage: Manage data leakage incidents by managing and releasing quarantined emails as part of the data and leakage prevention controls.
Education
Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
