Import Operations
- Monitor and manage incoming sea freight shipments.
- Coordinate with overseas offices, agents, carriers, customs brokers, and customers.
- Review shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Arrival Notice.
- Arrange cargo release and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Track shipments and provide status updates to customers and stakeholders.
- Handle exceptions, delays, and customer inquiries.
Export Operations
- Process export bookings and coordinate shipment schedules with carriers.
- Prepare and validate export documentation and shipping instructions.
- Coordinate cargo pick-up, stuffing, and loading arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with destination country and carrier requirements.
- Monitor vessel departures and provide shipment updates.
- Support billing and operational reporting activities.
General Operational Duties
- Maintain accurate shipment records in the transport management system.
