1. Oversee and supervise Finance Associates and to review account entries/payment application to ensure compliance with company policy and audit requirements, government (ACRA/IRAS/Other authorities) requirements, and management requirements.
2. Act as the main point of contact for addressing any inquiries and questions related to financial operations.
3. Search for areas in which productivity could be improved and optimizes the cost/efficiency ratio on operational process.
4. Help to define action plans and provides support to operations in their implementation
5. Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing and statutory and management reporting.
6. Liaise with Finance Controllership team for all related finance matters.
7. Handle audit related matter (semi-year/annual or quarterly audit) from internal auditors, external auditors and corporate tax agents or government agencies including preparation of audit schedules, attend to audit queries and to provide required documents, information and supports.
8. Proactively engage with the stakeholders to implement improvements to the payment and receivables processes.
9. Keep abreast with technological advancements in AP/AR systems arena and review/evaluate their suitability for the business.
10. Perform any other ad-hoc account-related tasks as per assigned by Management.
11. Participate in Institute-wide activities as assigned in action plans and/or duty rosters.

Skills Required
- Experience supervising finance or accounts receivable staff
- Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and payment application
- Experience with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing and statutory reporting
- Experience preparing audit schedules and handling internal/external audit queries
- Familiarity with government reporting requirements (e.g., ACRA/IRAS) and compliance
- Ability to identify process improvements and support implementation
- Experience liaising with Finance Controllership and external tax agents/agencies
- Awareness of AP/AR systems and ability to evaluate technology suitability
