Performs accounting function of Accounts Receivable by collecting money on past due invoices.
Hourly wage starts at $24 per hour
Essential Functions:
- Researches and resolves payment discrepancies.
- Resolves disputes and make recommendations for adjustment to account invoices as needed.
- Contacts customers via phone and email to inquire about payment on past due invoices.
- Provides Manager weekly customer account details regarding disputes and action steps taken to resolve.
- Interacts with Internal Sales and Operational personnel regarding customer disputes.
- Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED, with at least one year of practical experience in accounting or a related function.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of basic accounting principles, including debits and credits.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience communicating professionally with customers and employees over the phone.
- Proven ability to learn new computer programs through training and prior experience.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capability using sound reasoning and judgment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience interacting effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
