About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
This isn't a transactional sales role. You'll partner with some of Australia's largest organisations to solve complex business challenges, shape executive strategy, and deliver measurable commercial outcomes. This role will be focused delivering value to customers through our Marketing Cloud, Data 360, Loyalty and Personalisation solutions.
You'll be supported by an experienced specialist leadership team, world-class technical resources, and a culture built around coaching, collaboration, and winning together.
We're looking for a commercially sharp Senior Account Executive who thrives on opening new doors and closing meaningful deals across the Australian Commercial segment. You understand that today's marketers are under pressure to do more with less — and you know how to show them exactly how autonomous AI agents can change that.
You'll work across a defined commercial patch, matched to your strengths, hunting net new business while expanding relationships across your existing account base.
- Own the full sales cycle with a strong emphasis on net new business, while growing existing commercial accounts across ANZ
- Managing a portfolio of organisations with 1,000–2,500 FTE in ANZ, driving growth across both new business acquisition and existing customer expansion.
- Building and maintaining trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior business stakeholders, aligning technology investments to strategic business priorities.
- Driving consumption-based selling by increasing customer adoption, utilisation, and long-term value of SaaS solutions.
- Identified, developing, and closing net new business opportunities, delivering consistent revenue growth across assigned accounts.
- Positioning data, AI, and cloud solutions to solve critical business challenges while driving measurable business outcomes and return on investment.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting, strategic outreach, and ANZ market intelligence — in close collaboration with your Business Development partner
- Lead compelling conversations with marketing leaders and digital decision-makers, helping them understand the ROI of shifting from rule-based automation to agentic AI-driven engagement
- Orchestrate internal resources — Solutions Engineers, Professional Services, Partners, and Executives — to move deals forward efficiently in a commercial sales motion
- Keep your CRM data sharp: accurate forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and weekly/monthly/quarterly revenue reporting
- Build your presence in the ANZ market through industry events, roundtables, and face-to-face meetings across Australia and New Zealand
- At least 5+ years of Commercial or Enterprise SaaS Sales experience, with proven attainment or over-exceeding of quota
- Led consultative sales engagements, developing ROI-backed business cases that secured executive sponsorship and accelerated decision-making.
- Partnered cross-functionally with customer success, solution engineering, and partners to maximise customer outcomes and commercial growth.
- Executed complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, balancing strategic account planning with pipeline generation and deal execution.
- The ability to translate complex AI and automation concepts into clear business value for both technical and commercial buyers
- Strong commercial instincts — you know how to build a business case, manage a fast-moving pipeline, and navigate multiple stakeholders
- Credibility built on doing the work: accurate forecasting, disciplined pipeline management, and genuine customer advocacy
- Curiosity about AI and where agentic technology is heading — you don't need to be an engineer, but genuine enthusiasm for the space matters
- Experience is evaluated holistically — leadership roles, non-traditional backgrounds, and diverse career paths are all welcome here
We are pioneers of the Pledge 1% model, giving back through product, grants, and community service to those in need. We're proud to be #1 in PEOPLE's Top 50 Companies that Care and featured on Fortune's Change the World list — and here in ANZ, that commitment is felt every day.
