Job Summary

This position will be responsible for providing primary and secondary technical support to our Paris, TX and Hopkinsville, KY manufacturing facilities. Three weeks per month will be spent on site in Paris, one week per month is expected in Hopkinsville. Once candidate is acclimated to our environment, up to 1 week per month, at manager’s discretion, can be off-site.

Essential Functions

Provide Level I and Level II technical support for PC, Mobile, Server, and Networking functions.

Manage tickets for the Paris, TX and Hopkinsville, KY facilities.

Ensure Huhtamaki IT standards are maintained at each facility.

Work with the facilities to identify needs, cost savings, and collaborations with the Global IT Infrastructure team while maintaining IT standards.

Local ERP support, primarily resetting account passwords and working with print queues.

Teams Voice / VOIP support.

Track and maintain IT hardware and IT software assets inventory for sites.

Occasional work with outside vendors.

Close collaboration with the IT Infrastructure, Project Management and Business IT teams.

Job Qualifications

Required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic to Advanced troubleshooting of PC hardware and software, sufficient to support a facility with 125+ devices.
• Basic to Advanced familiarity with mobile devices sufficient to support a facility with 35+ devices.
• Basic to Advanced familiarity with WAN / LAN networking.
• Ability to be on-call after hours 24/7 by 365.
• Creative problem-solving, time management, and flexibility to shift priorities.
• Documentation skills for a multi-site environment.
• Ability to work with limited direct supervision.
• Availability to travel to Hopkinsville, KY 25% of the time, 1 week per month on average.

Preferred

• Knowledge of information systems consistent with that normally obtained through a bachelor’s degree in information systems or a similar field. Preferred to have 2 to 4 years of information systems related experience.
• Familiarity with Cisco networking equipment.
• Experience with VMware virtualized environments is a plus.
• Windows Server, RHEL, Ubuntu, and NGINX experience.

Environment

• Hybrid work environment that mixes in-office and remote work to offer flexibility and support to employees. In-office hours are set by group Manager.
• Travel as needed; up to 25%
• Work sites will include Factory floors as well as offices.
