Job Specifications:  

The Special Projects Specialist Project Coordinator – Special Project develops and implements one or more specific projects.

(Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required)

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • High energy and flexibility to manage diverse responsibilities and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of organization, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to develop/implement project(s) with limited supervision.
  • Innovative Thinker/Continuous Learner: Comfortable thinking “outside of the box”, constantly seeks opportunities to learn and improve, making use of successes and failures and data in order to learn and improve. 
  • Team Leadership: Has experience effectively working in a team environment, encouraging, and supporting others and managing conflict.
  • Critical Thinking & Problem-solving: Effectively organizes and analyzes information and anticipates challenges or new information to solve problems. Integrates and acts upon new information quickly and is comfortable thinking about details and the big picture.
  • Decision-making: Has experience making decisions in a timely manner and in the face of ambiguity. Considers consequences of decisions, willingly stands by difficult decisions, and communicates about decisions.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute written Project Plan for project(s)
  • Track required outcome/output/metrics and submit monthly reports.
  •  Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Training: (or equivalent)

  • Minimum - Bachelor’s Degree – Related to project

Minimum Experience:

  • 3 years’ experience in project topic/department.
