Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY: Under limited supervision of a vice president or administrative director provides administrative support services such as coordinating functions associated with conference arrangements, committee activities and meeting agendas.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Option 1:

  • Associate's Degree in Business or Secretarial field from an accredited business school or college
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressively responsible related work experience
  • In-depth understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and operations

Option 2:

  • G.E.D. equivalent with post-high school coursework in Business or Secretarial field from an accredited business school or college
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressively responsible related work experience
  • In-depth understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and operations

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Access

CORE COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to compose and prepare confidential reports, tables, and memorandums
  • High-level administrative detail management
  • Conference and event coordination
  • Committee and meeting coordination

Skills Required

  • Associate's degree in Business or Secretarial studies from an accredited business school or college
  • Three to five years of progressively responsible related work experience
  • GED equivalent with post-high-school coursework in Business or Secretarial studies, as an alternative education pathway
  • Five to seven years of progressively responsible related work experience for the alternative education pathway
  • In-depth understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and operations
  • Microsoft Word proficiency
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Microsoft PowerPoint proficiency
  • Microsoft Access proficiency
  • Ability to prepare confidential reports, tables, and memorandums
  • High-level administrative detail management
