About the location:

Lisbon’s most iconic address. Located in the heart of Lisbon, our historic Hotel wears the cultural heart and soul of Portugal on its sleeve. Inside, art-deco sensibilities mingle with an updated Louis XVI style, and a collection of important contemporary local artwork fills our halls. Outside, views of the city’s rolling hills and brightly tiled exteriors spread out before you. After spending the day exploring the city sights, many just steps from the Hotel, we invite you for a seasonally inspired, Michelin-starred gastronomic experience at CURA restaurant.

What you will do

  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with spa services.
  • Provide Massage, Facial, Body treatments, and any other wellness therapies in our spa, in guest suites, and in any location appropriate.
  • Possesses a high level of product knowledge and relevant technical skills; intuitively recommends and effectively upsells treatments, packages, and retail items in a sensitive and personalized manner.
  • Communicate and adapt to guest preferences and needs and make some suitable recommendations to extend experience after the services.
  • Has a thorough understanding of all services including benefits, indications & contraindications for each of the treatments; applies professional products safely and accurately.
  • Sets up and immaculately maintains spa treatment rooms; maintains stocks of operating and guest supplies in the work areas.
  • Has an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any task – personifying luxury guest service. Assists in executing the day-to-day operational requirements.
  • Sale and recommended retail products. Ensures Spa Setups and Treatment facilities are ready for service.
  • Meticulously respects guest needs for privacy, takes ownership of guest concerns and requests, and acts decisively to ensure guest satisfaction when glitches occur.
  • Flexible and extended job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs.
  • Support the SPA front desk and fitness areas.
  • Closely coordinate with Head Spa Therapist and Spa Manager.

What you bring

  • Certified training in Massage/Beautician.
  • Practical experience in a spa, clinic, or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Additional training in Lymphatic Drainage, Reflexology, Deep Tissue is highly valued.
  • Ability to adapt to different techniques and treatment styles, delivering a personalized experience to each guest.
  • Strong attention to detail, technical precision, and genuine passion for wellness therapies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, conveying confidence, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Proactive attitude, team spirit, and motivation to thrive in a luxury service environment.
  • Solid knowledge of hygiene, safety, and spa protocols.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese (additional languages are an advantage).
