This is an exciting role where you will learn to use market insights and data analysis to work with different partners to start and shape new market trends. You will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for spend categories and support the continuous improvement and standardization of the strategic sourcing processes
How you will contribute
You support spend category teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies for specific spend categories. To excel in this role, you interact with cross-functional stakeholders to manage spend and market analytics (for example, conducting "make or buy" analyses). You also generate insights from bid events, prepare supplier negotiation materials, support project execution and supplier relationship management, and drive controls and compliance.

- 3-5 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, Project Management, or Category Management.
- Experience managing multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Travel requirements: ones every 2 or 3 months.
- Work schedule: 40 hr per week.
Possible locations: preference-Mexico (Salinas, Santa Fe- starting 7-8-9 am depending on schedule), Canada (starting -9 am), alternative as last option US-East Hanover (starting -9am).
Key Responsibilities
Productivity & Workshops
- Coordinate and track productivity projects across all Packaging categories, ensuring timely execution and delivery of annual targets.
- Monitor project milestones, risks, and dependencies while providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Support the identification, development, and implementation of new productivity opportunities.
- Coordinate Procurement productivity workshops, including Business Margin Revolution (BMR), Supplier Summits, innovation sessions, and other value creation forums.
- Prepare workshop materials, facilitate project tracking, and ensure follow-up on action items.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain productivity dashboards and reports.
- Prepare and analyze Packaging category KPIs, performance metrics, and savings tracking.
- Generate insights to support business decision-making and category strategy.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on procurement processes, with an emphasis on productivity management.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and optimize procurement workflows.
- Drive best practices and process governance across procurement activities.
Sustainability Support
- Support Packaging sustainability objectives by coordinating initiatives aligned with corporate sustainability commitments.
- Track progress and prepare reports related to sustainability targets.
Design to Consumer Value (DTCV)
- Main point of contact for packaging on DTCV program, coordinate data collection and analysis required for the Design to Consumer Value (DTCV) program.
- Prepare category insights and presentations for DTCV workshops.
- Facilitate workshop preparation, document outcomes, and track execution of approved initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Procurement Category Managers, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and external suppliers to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Support strategic procurement programs and special projects as assigned.
