We are now looking for a Sourcing Operations Manager to join our team in UPM Business Hub Wrocław, Poland.

Welcome to the Sourcing Operations Hub Team! We are a team known for being approachable, responsive, and easy to work with. We deliver sourcing support across Indirect/MRO categories with a focus on solving problems and helping our stakeholders move forward. 

We are looking for a Sourcing Operations Manager who will lead a team of sourcing specialists and ensure excellence in daily sourcing delivery, stakeholder collaboration, and governance. This role plays a key part in driving operational performance, developing team capability, and advancing our ways of working, including digital and automation initiatives.

What you will do 

  • Lead and support the Operational Sourcing team, setting clear priorities and ways of working 

  • Oversee end-to-end operational sourcing activities, including RFx processes, supplier selection support, negotiations, and contract management 

  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality sourcing outcomes for goods and services 

  • Manage operational performance, including workload planning, prioritization, and service levels 

  • Use data and insights to identify improvements and support decision-making 

  • Contribute to the development of the Sourcing Factory model and the onboarding of new digital workflow management capabilities, leveraging familiarity with AI-driven automation solutions while acting as a generalist who bridges sourcing operations, technology, and business functions to drive integration, efficiency, and continuous improvement 

  • Collaborate with business and category teams to translate needs into sourcing actions  

  • Support process improvements, standardization, and the use of digital tools 

 

 

Who you are 

  • You have experience in sourcing or procurement, ideally in indirect categories, including RFx processes and negotiations 

  • You have experience supporting or leading a team and helping others develop 

  • You are comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment and managing multiple priorities 

  • You use data to support decisions and understand different drivers of value, such as cost, quality, and risk 

  • You are interested in improving ways of working and contributing to operational excellence 

  • You collaborate effectively with stakeholders and build strong working relationships 

  • You have experience with digital sourcing tools (e.g. SAP Ariba) is an advantage 

  • You are fluent in English
