The Sourcing Manager, is responsible for leading supplier and vendor negotiations to secure reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality materials that support uninterrupted production. This role drives strategic procurement initiatives, manages supplier relationships, and ensures compliance with corporate standards while optimizing inventory and cost performance.
Responsibilities- Lead supplier and vendor negotiations to achieve competitive pricing, favorable contract terms, and long-term supply reliability.
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships, ensuring consistent quality, delivery performance, and financial stability.
- Enforce compliance with Sourcing policies and Finance procedures while upholding the highest standards of ethics.
- Lead the Sourcing team in reviewing and analyzing material costs, identifying and executing cost reduction opportunities.
- Collaborate with Engineering to develop and implement cost reduction programs, initiate projects, and monitor performance outcomes.
- Conduct periodic reviews of supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance to ensure reliability of supply and manage long-term agreements.
- Guide and motivate the team to apply Carrier Excellence Tools, foster continuous improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Maintain a positive work environment by applying the Carrier Way, promoting teamwork, communication, and creativity.
- Ensure compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, aligning departmental objectives with corporate and local government requirements, and driving continuous improvement programs.
- Oversee adherence to Quality Management Systems, ensuring alignment with company quality policies, goals, and business metrics.

Peer Relationship: Factory Managements, Program Management Offices, Regional Leads
Job Requirements- Degree /Diploma in Engineering discipline and/or Materials Management and Supply Chain field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in procurement or supply management roles in a manufacturing environment
- A team leader with excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- 5+ years of management experience including leading team and driving operational excellence.
