This is an exciting role where you will learn to use market insights and data analysis to work with different partners to start and shape new market trends. You will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for spend categories and support the continuous improvement and standardization of the strategic sourcing processes
How you will contribute
You support spend category teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies for specific spend categories. To excel in this role, you interact with cross-functional stakeholders to manage spend and market analytics (for example, conducting "make or buy" analyses). You also generate insights from bid events, prepare supplier negotiation materials, support project execution and supplier relationship management, and drive controls and compliance.

What you need to know about this position:
You support sourcing for spend categories-including sourcing execution and stakeholder management-to maximize the total value of ownership for the organization. You also work closely with local business and global spend category teams to ensure best practice sharing and driving value for the organization.
The Capex Procurement Manager is a member of a team tasked to execute asset acquisition strategies related to corporate cross-category manufacturing, supply chain and infrastructure spend.
These tasks include interaction with cross functional stakeholders to understand business needs, manage end to end Project sourcing and procurement transactional duties associated with acquisition of Infrastructure, Machinery, Equipment and Services in Country/BU; driving controls and compliance ; delivery cash generation through negotiation/bidding in daily work; manage assigned local Country/BU capex vendor bases and continue development; manage supply risks through effective coordination internally and externally.

Education / Certifications:
B.E (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical)
MBA (Preferred)
Job specific requirements:
  • 8-10 years in Indirect sourcing, preferably CAPEX
  • CAPEX Experience in Food /Pharma/Chemical industry

Travel requirements:
2-3 Times per year
