Job Summary:
The Sorucing Manager in Songdo will be responsible for searching, negotiating, and purchasing supplies from existing suppliers and also from potential suppliers to meet the business needs. This role will also ensure implementation within the assigned area in order to align the supply base network with the long-term business needs to meet the defined performance and technology requirements of the business. Scope: CAPEX (Equipment), MRO, Buildings, Facility management, Technical Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop risk management procedures and cost management standard
  • Ensure that all procurement risks are managed, controlled, and mitigated
  • Review the procurement schedules and timely report and share the critical changes to related stakeholders.
  • Lead supplier performance evaluation and ensure compliance to follow.
  • Analyze and anticipate cost trends, develops and revies cost forecasts, translate into implicaations for the business and uses as negotiation preparation
  • Build local sourcing infra by recommending strategic directions, policies, methods, and processes that would fit best for the business in Songdo
  • Establish grograms for developing supplier relationship, quality and performance management
  • Supervise procurement team and discussing tasks across departments when necessary
  • Monitoring the process of a procurement activities and manage the delivery of process equipments including the track shipment, customs and the acceptane test.
  • Process purchase orders and management to local procurement for LAB and Expendables
  • Oversee and manage the delivery of process equipment from organizing and confirming the shipment
  • Assist Project/Catagory Managers with the procurement activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Requirement and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, logistics, or in a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing.
  • Exceptaional analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Experiences:

  • Over than 10 years of related experience preferred
  • Proven experience in managing procurement operations.
  • Experience in sourcing of indirect material, CAPEX(Equipment), MRO, building, facility management, technical servies
  • Experience in ERP system (SAP preferred)

Language:

  • Good command in both English & Korean

Working Conditions/Environment:

Willingness to travel if needed
