Position Overview:

Manage the product lifecycle process from development to bulk, ensuring timely execution of calendar deliverables to meet deadlines and goals. Provide input into level 1 and level 2 country of origin strategy, track and report out on KPIs, create and execute initiatives in support of strategic vision. - This position will primarily work on Sweaters for Women's and Men's and Woven Dresses for the Women's and Girls categories (note, categories may be subject to change).

What You Will Do:

  • Communicate with Global Offshore Supply/Vendors regarding concerns related to proper sample execution and costing, throughout the development process.

  • Must have knowledge general garment engineering, open costing and raw materials

  • Must be able to approach work strategically and have the ability to multitask, managing day-to-day responsibilities in conjunction with ad-hoc projects requiring quick turn-time.

  • Proactive management of potential issues; driving to resolution with cross functional teams

  • Drives the product development and commercialization process, working in collaboration with the internal / external cross functional partners (Design, Merchandising, Technical Design, Sourcing, Hubs, Vendors & factories) to deliver product that meets business requirements for quality, aesthetic and price.

  • Ensure appropriate work is being done to build products into target costs while maintaining design integrity.

  • Continuous communication with design and raw material partners to ensure collaboration/alignment throughout the development process.

  • Lead discussions around initial flash costing at development stage to ensure styles are within range of the cost target, prior to the tech packs being released.

  • Drive collaboration to ensure tech pack accuracy for samples in partnership with design, technical design.

  • PLM data management including reporting costs to the business

  • Implement vendor strategy including program and style allocation

  • Lead weekly cross functional WIP discussions

  • Escalate exceptions when deliverables / deadlines are missed

  • Calendar adherence. Engage with cross functional teams to ensure all key dates are met

  • Work with supervisor to evolve Vendor / RM strategy to meet demands of business and global climate

  • Negotiate costing with vendors against divisional targets

  • Support vendors in style re-engineering options to hit targets

  • Attend development and production fittings as needed

  • Collaborate with PVH offshore offices and factories directly on daily tasks

  • Engage PVH offshore offices and/or Supply Chain Partners for solutions as it relates to business needs

  • Process: Create / influence

  • Initiative involvement:  Workstream lead

  • Strategy vs Execution: 75% executional / 25% strategy

  • Sphere of influence: Ability to influence others cross functionally as it relates to tasks

  • Scope of role: Multi Gender, division& channel, single category

What You Will Bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in sourcing, product development and/or production

  • Sweaters experience is required

Education: 

 Bachelor’s Degree is required

  • Product development or manufacturing-related background is preferred

Skills:

  • Computer skills – Full MS Office Suite/Power Point/Pivot Tables

  • Knowledge of or experience with PLM or PDM is preferred (will train)

  • Top-notch follow up skills are essential

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good interpersonal skills

Pay Range:$101,300---$137,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. PVH is committed to providing a market-competitive total rewards package to eligible associates, which includes diverse and robust health and insurance benefits to meet the varied needs of our associates and an above-market 401(k) contribution to help our associates save for retirement. Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible.
