About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sourcing Lead to build and lead a high-performing sourcing function. This role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, building proactive talent pipelines, coaching the sourcing team, and providing market intelligence to support business growth.
We are looking for someone who thinks like a talent advisor, not just a sourcer. The ideal candidate is curious, data-driven, takes ownership, and enjoys developing people while continuously improving sourcing effectiveness.
Please note that this is a full-time, work-from-office role. The working days are Monday through Friday, with office hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, our office is located in Udyog Vihar Phase II, Sector 20, Gurgaon.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing
- Develop sourcing strategies aligned with business and hiring priorities.
- Build proactive talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Leverage multiple sourcing channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, talent communities, networking, and other innovative sourcing methods.
- Conduct talent mapping, competitor research, and market intelligence to support hiring decisions.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, mentor, and coach the sourcing team to improve capability and performance.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Encourage the adoption of new sourcing techniques, AI tools, and best practices.
Business Partnership
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop sourcing plans.
- Provide insights on talent availability, market trends, and sourcing challenges.
- Recommend sourcing strategies that improve hiring outcomes.
Candidate Engagement and Performance & Analytics
- Develop personalized outreach strategies to engage passive talent.
- Build long-term relationships and maintain strong talent pipelines.
- Track and analyse sourcing metrics, pipeline health, and channel effectiveness.
- Identify trends and recommend improvements to increase sourcing quality and conversion.
What We're Looking For
- 8-10 years of Talent Acquisition experience with significant experience in sourcing.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring a sourcing team.
- Strong expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean Search, X-Ray Search, job boards, referrals, and alternative sourcing channels.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing niche and hard-to-find talent.
- Strong market mapping and talent intelligence skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- High ownership, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting global hiring across multiple regions.
- Experience using AI-powered sourcing and recruitment technologies.
- Exposure to ATS and recruitment analytics tools.
- Experience building sourcing processes, playbooks, or capability programs.
