The Role
Lead sourcing activities for new product introductions: set sourcing strategy, negotiate contracts (NDAs, SOWs, development agreements), execute RFQs and awards, perform supply‑chain risk analysis and mitigation, drive supplier cost and NRE reductions, and lead supplier engagements through the project lifecycle.

What you will do:

• Ensure project teams adhere to strategic direction of Global Sourcing, pur
• Negotiate and implement contracts and agreements (NDA’s, SOW’s, developmental agreements) supporting R&D
• Execute RFQ’s and business award
• Perform formal supply chain risk analysis and propose and develop mitigation strategies
• Negotiate supplier cost reductions and NRE reductions during product development and continuous cost reduction initiatives through the project lifecycle
• May lead supplier portions of the projects
What you will need:

Required Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or Supply Chain Management, required
• 4 years engineering or supply chain management supporting new product introductions, required
• Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry experience, highly preferred
• Influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to negotiate effectively to obtain best prices and terms on products, materials, and services

Preferred qualification:
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within all levels of the organization
• Ability to read, interpret and translate engineering drawings
• Ability to recognize risks and propose and develop contingency plans

Travel Percentage: 10%
