Vast is looking for a Procurement Coordinator, Indirect, reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, Indirect to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of human-rated space stations.
This will be a full-time, exempt position located in our Long Beach location.
Responsibilities:
- Tactical purchase order placement and open order management.
- Support Vast Supplier management including tasks such as onboarding, performance monitoring, compliance verification, and relationship management, requiring dedicated oversight.
- Assist with consistent communication, contract follow-ups, and resolution of supply chain issues.
- Ensures procurement activities adhere to policies, reducing organizational and supply chain risk (activities include Supplier due diligence and documentation tracking now demand sustained focus to maintain audit-readiness and regulatory compliance).
- Tackle high volume data entry and data migration.
- Manage and drive supplier issue ticket resolution, RMA processing and billing/AP discrepancies.
- Enable Procurement team to focus on high-value tasks such as negotiations and procurement strategies, while managing day-to-day operational procurement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-3+ years of procurement experience.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail.

- Quick learner and ability to prioritize appropriately to meet customer and company needs.

Pay Range:
- Procurement Coordinator I, Indirect: $22/hr. - $32/hr.
- Procurement Coordinator II, Indirect: $27/hr. - $38/hr.
