Your Opportunity: Acrylic Design Associates, a division of Taylor Corporation, is looking for an experienced Sourcing Analyst to join their team in Plymouth, MN! This position focuses on supply chain dynamics - these include supply chain management, innovation, and cost containment; coordinating with department members directly in the acquisition and expediting of materials and services; and coordinating inventory levels.
Your Responsibilities:
- Working with current and new vendors as needed for production and facility requirements with a total cost perspective and smooth flow of product
- Market and product research
- Review standard agreements and contracts
- Supplier management including-Negotiation, qualification, and assessment
- Coordinating purchases and prices with vendors, estimators, and sales
- Forwarding RFQs to suppliers
- Establish and review supplier pricing models and terms
- Creating, forwarding and monitoring/tracking Purchase Orders and support materials. Expediting POs to ensure timely delivery
- Working with suppliers on quality assurance and intervening to correct product issue
- Approve POs as needed by limits
- Establish lead time system and communications
- Work with compliance team
- Review expenses as needed including credit cards
- Develop Taylor and ADA sustainability practices and products
- Process returns and defective material claims
- System updates on vendor data and pricing
- Reconcile invoices to POs
You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in a related area of specialty
- 3+ years of experience in sourcing / procurement
We Would Prefer:
- General understanding of retail displays and fixtures
- General understanding of manufacturing operations and operating systems within the plastics industry
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $72,000 - $85,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
