Strategic Sourcing Analyst

Position Overview
The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring a steady supply of high-quality materials to support both internal and external customers. This role focuses on day-to-day sourcing activities, with responsibilities including cost management, vendor registration, and system improvements. Reporting to a senior team member, the Analyst II will also collaborate with 1-3 managers/directors, contributing to both daily tasks and broader project work.
Primary Responsibilities
- Source and secure high-quality raw materials to meet production needs, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply chain management.
- Address and resolve any invoice discrepancies with suppliers, coordinating with finance and procurement teams to ensure accuracy and timely payments.
- Create and implement sourcing strategies to optimize raw material procurement, balancing cost efficiency with quality and reliability.
- Negotiate Prices, Terms, and Conditions: Collaborate closely with suppliers to negotiate favorable prices, payment terms, and other conditions to secure the best value for the organization.
- Use data analysis to monitor supplier performance, assess material costs, forecast demand, and support decision-making in procurement.
- Participate in cross-functional projects, bringing procurement insights to support product development, operational improvements, and process innovations.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in sourcing functions.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Creative approach to challenges, eager to find practical solutions.
- Not afraid to push boundaries and try new ideas.
- Results-oriented and highly motivated.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $67,900 - $89,120.
