For all service part numbers identified to complete repair needs to be procured from suppliers for supporting the dealers.
Sourcing analyst is responsible for identifying the manufacturing site with Engineering systems, CAD, Production Purchasing system & working with Engineers.
Responsibilities- Responsible for identifying Manufacturing site for Service part numbers in the manual sourcing work queue within KPI.
- Analyze WIPS, iERP, WERS, CAD for identifying Manufacturing sites. Engage with suppliers to confirm the findings.
- Work with Engineers for any clarification relating to the part numbers / program / CAD requested by Suppliers or Buyers.
- Co-ordinate with Product Analyst to get clarity on missing attributes in Service part numbers or Serviceability related questions.
- Co-ordinate with Buyer & SVAT analyst to activate the new Manufacturing site required for Sourcing.
- Work with Kitting team for approval to source parts to HLM, Pak-rite or other kitters.
- Support buyers in identifying correct Manufacturing site for any incorrect Mechanically sourced parts which are not recognized by suppliers.
- Action Sourcing tracklites from internal teams within 2 business days.
- Prioritize any New Model or Vehicle Down related parts in Sourcing queue.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Supply chain management or related field.
- Six sigma, Lean or continuous improvement mindset would be beneficial.
- Prior experience with Ford will be an added advantage.
- Experience with data analytics tools will be handy.
- Good communication to work with cross functional Supervisors / Managers
