Reimagining the infrastructure of cancer care.
The Role
Manage a portfolio of oncology RWD projects, design RWE solutions, optimize processes, and liaise between technical teams and clients to enhance cancer care outcomes.
Summary Generated by Built In
Reimagine the infrastructure of cancer care within a community that values integrity, inspires growth, and is uniquely positioned to create a more modern, connected oncology ecosystem. We're looking for a Solutions Manager to help us accomplish our mission to improve and extend lives by learning from the experience of every person with cancer. Are you ready to be the next changemaker in cancer care?
What You'll Do
Flatiron's global evidence solutions are helping life science companies accelerate oncology R&D, design clinical trials, attain regulatory approvals and much more. Solutions Managers play an instrumental role in designing and delivering fit-for-use real-world data (RWD) solutions that serve our customers needs and developing resources to ensure internal and external partners derive maximum value from it. Sitting within the Client Solutions organization, you will work with cross-functional stakeholders to empower both our internal teams and our pharma clients to derive value from real-world data (RWD) with speed and confidence. You will:
  • Manage a portfolio of 4-6 projects in parallel, including real-world data deliverables, while advocating for and prioritizing requests across teams based on comprehensive judgment of trade-offs.
  • Design fit-for-purpose RWE solutions for our customers - understanding and breaking down use cases, defining patient cohort selection criteria, aligning on analytic approaches, and setting the right quality bar for cross-functional teams to execute against.
  • Partner with Flatiron's Life Sciences team and customers to ensure a clear understanding of customer needs and any additional considerations (e.g., budget, timeline) that may affect solution design.
  • Serve as the primary link between technical teams (engineering, product, data sciences, research oncology) and end-users to develop supporting documentation and/or drive solutions for clients.
  • Optimize or create new processes to automate repeatable activities and reduce manual work.
  • Act as the voice of the end-user across internal functional groups to identify friction points and knowledge gaps.

Who You Are
  • You have 5 years minimum experience in a cross-functional setting in one of the following: healthcare consulting, RWD/RWE, CRO/ARO, pharmaceutical industry, operational excellence, or strategic operations.
  • You have a knack for "translating" complex concepts for cross-functional audiences, turning technical jargon into clear guidance.
  • You possess superb project management skills and are comfortable managing a high volume of tasks in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • You are a strategic thinker who recommends improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems.
  • You are comfortable working with or learning platforms such as Jira, Okta, and automation or AI tools.
  • Bonus: you know basic SQL or have an interest to learn.

Where You'll Work
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and 3 office days set by you and your team. For more information on our approach to hybrid work, please visit the how we work website.
