Your ImpactAs a Solutions Engineer, you will play a highly customer-facing role, partnering with customers to understand business challenges and deliver innovative technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:Serve as a trusted technology, product, and solution consultant to customers and partners.
Lead technical engagement throughout the sales lifecycle, ensuring successful execution of technical milestones and customer outcomes.
Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and solution discussions to customer stakeholders.
Provide solution architecture, design, and implementation guidance in collaboration with Cisco Architecture and Sales teams.
Partner with Account Managers to develop account strategies and drive customer success.
Educate customers on Cisco’s differentiated value proposition and establish Cisco as the preferred technology partner.
Coordinate technical resources and specialists to deliver comprehensive, business-aligned solutions.
Support RFP responses, solution positioning, and competitive differentiation activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
5–7 years of pre-sales experience in a customer-facing technical role.
Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and listening skills.
Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies and solutions.
Understanding of end-to-end architecture and multi-domain solution design.
Experience across networking and at least one adjacent technology domain such as Security, Data Center, Cloud, or Collaboration.
Ability to articulate Cisco’s architectural value and business outcomes to customers.
Experience supporting technical evaluations, solution design, and RFP processes.
Experience working with large Enterprise customers across Manufacturing, IT/ITES, BFSI, and Multinational organizations.
Strong understanding of Cisco Networking, Security, Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, and Cross-Architecture solutions.
Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent Cloud and Security certifications.
Knowledge of automation and programmability technologies including Python, REST APIs, NETCONF/YANG, and Ansible.
Understanding of software, subscription, and lifecycle-based selling models.
Proven ability to collaborate with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
Strong solution positioning, competitive differentiation, and strategic problem-solving skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication capabilities.
