Who you are:
The Solutions Engineer is responsible for providing pre- and post-sales support for our rapidly growing customer base resulting in revenue growth. Is responsible for the technical relationships with prospects during the sales process to scope and delivery solutions that meet Polly’s ideal customer profiles’ business needs. The Sales Engineer will act as a resource for the sales, account management, front line services teams, and other functional departments throughout Polly and is tasked with helping scale Polly’s technical product capabilities.

What you’ll do:
- Act as a technical resource and liaison between the sales team and prospects
- Participate in sales and prospect calls, providing product demonstrations
- Work with prospects at both a technical and business level to show how Polly’s solutions provide value
- Act as a liaison with the Product team to discuss and provide input on potential product developments/enhancements while incorporating the voice of customers to ensure we hit the mark for our ideal customer profile and market needs
- Work with Sales & Marketing teams to test out new messaging and product(s) in the market
- Work cross functionally throughout the organization to develop business and technical analysis and provide solutions support
- Articulating and/or demonstrating Polly’s unique value proposition on technical aspects of solutions and offerings, assisting with prevention of client churn
- Ensure expectations have been set for clients regarding the transition to Polly from their existing system(s) to facilitate a seamless client experience while setting downstream teams up for success
- Keep up to date on the ever changing trends in mortgage/capital market space
What you have:
- 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar technical role
- Ability to provide and receive feedback to teammates, peers, and people at all levels
- Ability to be a self-starter and drive positive change
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- Exudes salesmanship fundamentals
- Solid experience in preparing and delivering presentations – in person and remotely
- A passion for understanding customers and solving their business problems
- The ability to effectively present technical material to small and large groups
- Strong analytical skills and experience in evaluating the competition and market trends
- The ability to translate complex concepts and technologies into business-oriented value propositions
- Experience with Saas applications
- The ability to work with cross functional teams and people at all levels inside and outside Polly
