The Role

We’re looking for a full-time Solutions Engineer, who will report into our VP of Revenue, and work with our sales team and customers to validate our product’s technical fit and ensure the technical success of our existing customers.

This role is very customer facing and cross-functional. You’ll be working with Account Executives to close deals, Account Managers to build out custom solutions to drive customer value and will be clarifying the needs of our customers to our Product and Engineering teams to focus our roadmap. You’ll thrive in the role if you love diving deep on technology, and helping others find success.

This role is critical for us because it directly influences bring in new customers, retaining them, and focusing our engineering teams on the most important items areas to build.

Specifically, you will:

  • Work with the world’s leading venture investors to drive their success with mission-critical software and data.
  • Be the subject matter expert on technical validation, aka - how we set up the product to prove we can meet customers' technical needs.
  • Be the hub of technical knowledge across our Revenue org, training new and existing sellers on new features and products, and taking the voice of the customer to our product team.
  • Constantly refine your craft and our processes, and evangelize those practices within our broader team.

Role requirements:

  • 2 or more years of experience in a similar role. Sometimes these roles are called things like Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Forward Deployed Engineer
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a resourceful, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality - you’ll help us define the function and refine what great looks like.
  • Excellent communication skills - you can distill complex topics to the simplified core of what matters. Your understanding of other’s needs lets you communicate in an extremely compelling manner.
  • Technical acumen - most of your depth here will come on the job. But you’re more likely to learn as quickly as we’ll need if you’ve shown prior aptitude in things like computer science classes, learning SQL, or data science.
  • An excitement to work in person most days of the week at our NYC Office at the Brass Factory in Williamsburg.

Pay

$80K - $150K Salary + Commissions + Equity
