Program Duration: 12 monthsLocation: Cisco Systems Philippines, Taguig CityMeet the TeamCisco seeks a Solutions Engineer Intern to work within the Cisco pre-sales team, based in Taguig, Philippines. The Intern will work closely with the Philippines SP SE team to learn the latest Cisco technologies in the domains of AI, Automation, and Enterprise Networking.
Your ImpactThe engagement includes setting up a lab testbed and supporting customer proof-of-concept demonstrations. This provides the intern with valuable hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of real customer requirements, helping to prepare them for a career in networking. It is both a challenging and rewarding role, best suited for a highly motivated individual.
Key ResponsibilitiesGain knowledge and experience with various Cisco solutions aimed at Service Providers.
Provide support in the demonstration of Cisco technology and solutions.
Participate in customer engagements under the guidance of a local Systems Engineer.
Assist the local SE team in the delivery of a POC engagement.
Provide administrative support as needed.
Collaborate with peers and mentors.
Receive in-depth training and build skills while earning industry-leading certifications (expected to receive CCNA by the end of the intern term).
Currently pursuing and actively enrolled in an advanced degree or certification, including bachelor's, master's, community college, technical bootcamp, or other educational programs. Year 3 and Year 4 students are preferred.
Knowledge of adjacent technologies, holding Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) or other industry-recognized certifications, and the ability to script (Python or Java) is a plus. Holding other certificates in Data Center, Cloud, or Automation from reputable organizations is also preferred.
Good English skills for an international working environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
Ability to multitask, self-start, work in a fast-paced team environment, and work independently.
