As a Solutions Engineer (EMEA) at Sumsub, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by bridging the gap between technical capabilities and customer needs. You will work closely with the sales, product and operational teams to provide technical expertise, solution demonstrations, and architectural guidance to Sumsub's Tier-1 prospects and leads across the EMEA region.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Solution Consulting: Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their technical and business requirements and positioning our solutions accordingly.

  • Product Demonstrations: Prepare and conduct live and customized demonstrations of Sumsub’s all-in-one platform, showcasing its capabilities and value proposition.

  • Technical Discovery & Qualification: Work closely with prospective clients to gather technical requirements, assess integration needs, and define solution architectures.

  • Account Expansion & Upselling: Partner closely with CSMs and Account Managers to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing enterprise accounts, uncovering technical pain points and pitching new product modules (e.g., Transaction Monitoring, KYB, fraud workflows).

  • PoC Execution: Lead PoCs and trials to validate Sumsub’s technology during both new business and existing account expansion cycles, working closely with client technical teams to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Sales & Account Support: Partner with the sales and account management teams throughout deal cycles, providing technical expertise, responding to RFPs/RFIs, and addressing customer concerns in both written and verbal communication.

  • Integration Consulting: Guide customers on best practices for integrating APIs and SDKs, ensuring a smooth and efficient deployment for initial setups as well as new feature rollouts.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and CS) to align solutions with evolving customer needs and market trends.

About you:

  • Ability to quickly master new technologies and articulate complex technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and commercial audiences.

  • Solid working knowledge of APIs, SDKs, and cloud-based SaaS architectures (hands-on coding background is a plus, but not required).

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with confidence presenting to cross-functional stakeholders (prior client-facing or presales experience is a strong advantage).

  • Sharp analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting mindset when dealing with integrations and customer requirements.

  • Genuine curiosity and interest in Fintech, RegTech, Fraud Prevention, and Compliance (domain exposure is a bonus, but not mandatory).

  • Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken).

  • Flexibility and willingness to travel across the EMEA region for key customer meetings, workshops, and industry events.

What We Offer:

  • Remote-first, trust-based culture. Work from the place that works best for you. No mandatory office days, no attendance trackers. In some locations, we provide offices or coworking spaces, but the choice is yours.

  • True flexibility. We do not fix you to a 9-to-5 schedule. You can adjust your working hours when needed, as long as your day stays productive and in sync with the team.

  • Extra time off. Your birthday is a holiday here. Add to that 10 personal days each year, seven sick days without paperwork, and extra time to enjoy Christmas and New Year. Time to rest is part of the deal.

  • Work that matters. Our mission is to build a digital world that is secure, accessible and inclusive for everyone. From fighting fraud to making online services easier and safer to use, your work will have a real impact on how people experience trust online.

  • Compensation. We offer fair and transparent pay, benchmarked to the market.

  • Truly global. We work across continents and time zones, with teammates and customers from all over the world. You will run campaigns that cross borders, cultures, and languages, and see your ideas land worldwide.

  • Growth built in. Clear goals, open feedback and personal development plans. We support your progress with learning opportunities and by covering role-specific events, from design conferences to marketing forums.

  • Celebrating your big moments. We are proud to support you through life’s biggest journeys with dedicated financial bonuses for both marriage and welcoming a new baby to your family.

  • Team offsites. Sometimes just Slack is not enough. That is why we meet in person a few times a year. Trips are fully covered, so you can meet, collaborate, and recharge together.

  • Getting you set up. We make sure you have access to the tools and hardware you need to do your work well.

  • Friendly by design. Our logo is a dog for a reason. We keep things human, open and kind. We welcome individuality, quirks and different perspectives, because that is what makes our work smarter and more fun.
