Clearwater Analytics is searching for an experienced Senior Solutions Consultant. The person will have a combination of “native” asset management domain fluency along with technical experience in a fintech company having helped to attain booking quotas.

Crucial in this role is collaborating with prospects and clients to address investment data related pain points within their current operational framework and the impact upon their client engagement. The role’s primary goal is to secure new business by showcasing how the Clearwater solution effectively resolves issues and enhances the overall value of their operations. As an integral member of the product sales team, the Solutions Consultant serves as a subject matter expert on the Clearwater Solution, harnessing their profound expertise in asset management and the importance of client investment data and reporting in differentiating our clients.

Responsibilities
The Senior Solutions Consultant role leads and collaborates upon new sales opportunities to accelerate bookings and revenue growth while also building foundational knowledge of asset management client data and reporting landscape.

The person will be responsible for:

  • Technical Acumen - Experience in the financial industry particularly in investment data such as IBORs along with security and pricing master and expertise in typical financial data sources like custodial, market, pricing and client provided custom data.
  • Pipeline Generation: Drive sustained pipeline generation within an asset management “center of target” prospect and client list. This will necessitate deep domain and product knowledge to effectively provide product demos and prospecting whiteboard sessions.
  • Product Strategy: Work closely with product management and development leadership teams to ensure effective positioning for the execution of a relevant and aggressive development strategy. This strategy includes the identification of potential design partnerships with prospects and clients.
  • Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with the sales team to gather and analyze client requirements, providing valuable insights and recommendations for customizing Prism solutions to meet client needs. 
  • Team Leadership: mentor and train sales and business development professionals within each industry segment and global territory.
  • Thought Leadership: Build thought leadership on the future state of the asset management industry and its potential impact upon the overall product strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Develop strong cross-functional relationships across the Clearwater leadership team, becoming a trusted partner.


Role Qualifications

  • 8+ years asset management experience within a “front office” business management role or senior operations/data role.
  • 3+ years of experience within a high-growth or scaling technology company with a focus on Data Aggregation/Hub and Reporting
  • Track record of exceeding goals and quotas with emphasis upon high efficiency sales process.
  • Demonstrates a genuine passion for the asset management domain, fintech, accompanied by an existing network within and across both industries.
  • Passion for technology and data-driven solutions, with a commitment to continuous learning and development. 
  • Thrives in a competitive selling environment with experience selling technical products and the ability, with demonstrated management experience, to effectively train sellers to enhance their business-closing skills.
  • Displays a low ego and an adeptness for collaborating effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of autonomy in work.
  • Possess a process-oriented mindset that can drive consensus across cross-functional teams and successfully bring projects to completion.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business, finance, accounting and/or relevant area of focus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and build rapport with clients.

Salary will DOE, base salary $150k - $200k + variable + RSUs
